Plot
Sylvain, an engineer come vigilante inventor, has constructed a device. It is close to functional, but something isn't right. His wife, Mary Anne, is running out of patience. She loathes the woods in which they live and yearns for a return to the city. Problems arise when their already tense situation is exasperated by the appearance of shadow beings, which torment them during the night. Sylvain slowly comes to realize that this is not a localized event and some greater scheme might be at work. From the meth producing hillbillies on the mountain top to the corrupt lawman, Sheriff Donnelly, no one can escape the reach of the shadow people. Sylvain starts to suspect his device has something to do with it, but cannot bring himself to destroy the machine he has worked so hard to create...

Ron Phillips is a former Australian rules footballer who played with North Adelaide in the SANFL. He won back to back Magarey Medals in 1948 and 1949, the only other North Adelaide player to achieve this feat is Tommy MacKenzie.
Phillips was a very versatile footballer and played in most positions during his 188 game career. His 1948 Magarey Medal win was at centre half back and he won the award the following season when playing at centre half forward. From 1949 to 1952 he topped North Adelaide's goalkicking, with his best tally of 66 goals coming in 1952. He also played interstate football for South Australia, making a total of 10 appearances.

He was the President of the United Indurated Fibre Company, President of the Buffalo Warehouse & Distributing Company, Owner of the Cascade Pulp Mills, Director and Vice President of the Lockport Water & Electric Company and an associate of Peterson & Sons.
Peterson was an influential Bourbon Democrat and in 1892 he was a Presidential Elector in support of Grover Cleveland, the party faction's sole Presidential success. He served for a time as Police Commissioner and Railroad Commissioner before being nominated as Mayor of Lockport.
Peterson was born in Belfast, New York and attended Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo.
